Day 4 and Day 5

I'm back in Penang dee. Continue with my third semester. Here to continue update my day 4 and day 5 in putrajaya.
Okay so on 30th August, I went to Perdana View Lake to watch the fireworks displays, it was so nice~~ you can even see the fireworks in different paterns like star shape, heart shape, planet shape and even smiley!! The displays lasted for like half an hour, it was really good~~ love it!! I can't capture the nice picture of the fireworks because of my lousy camera... ish...
After the fireworks, I joined my sister and her friends to this place called William's Corner Shop. Before I went, I was told that you have to be mentally prepared, physically prepared and the most importantly financially prepared. But when I reached there, the place was packed. And it's just a road side store, but the food was really good. I had this mango smoothie thing and Cheese Nan, it was soooo goooood!! I almost melted dee.. the cheese was so rich and when you cut it you can even see cheese dropping down. After the cheese nan, we were too full for others, but we were like kept staring other people's food and all looks really nice and fragarant, gotta try the others next time I go. It's located near Petaling Jaya, quite far from where I stayed though... The portions were big. The price and the food range from the cheap mamak stall food like Roti Nan to the expensive Western Food. They also served Chinese food. A whole range of varieties for you to choose.

- my mango smoothie and cheese nan-

Let's move on to the next day. I spent almost the whole day in Putrajaya. I was right, there are really nothing in Cyberjaya except the two universities I mentioned in the earlier post. Putrajaya was also quite a sad place to live but at least they have a mall namely Alamandar. The buildings in Putrajaya were really nice and I found my favourite bridge. Let the pictures do the talking shall we?

- welcome to Putrajaya-

- 1st bridge I spotted-

- the 2nd bridge-

- hmmm... how come it ended like this?-

- the skeleton of an unknown building, but nice-

-mooo~~

- cow in tiger skin?!-

- yes, milk is good for you, drink me!!-

- more moo moo to come, hmm.. where are them come from?!-

- oooh, it's cow parade-

Each cow in the cow parade is different, they are from the hand of the artist from different countries, there are 24 cows in total for display in Putrajaya.
For example like this one

This is from....

-Denmark!!-

Isn't it nice? I think it's really nice and artistic. Okay, continue my walking... found the landmark of Putrajaya, yay!!

- Sri Perdana-

- Behind some unknown office, I spotted this-

-Palace of Justice behind me-

- isn't that putrajaya Convention Centre?!-

- continue strolled down to lake park-

- and got this pic of my favourite bridge, yay!!-

Putrajaya is so different from other states I've seen, their landscapes were nice, buildings were nice, bridges were nice, and even their lamp post looks like this

and like this,

So does their traffic lights

- cute?-

The last day, I spent the whole day in KLCC alone, it's kinda weird to walk alone but quite enjoying also. The place was full of people, people there buy things like no need to pay, horrible!! I went into the Jimmy Choo and you guess how much is a pair of Jimmy Choo's shoes?! It's freaking TWO THOUSAND something!! OH MY GAWD!! and I actually see people trying on, probably buying also. A pair of shoes for MORE THAN TWO THOUSAND?! But I guess the shoes were really comfy, no I didn't dare to try but I was like touching on the material, NICE!!
Okay, I guess that's all about my Cyberjaya Trip. Whoa, this is really a long post with a lot of photos, hope you don't get bored. hehe!! I actually have more, but I would be way too long to post it up all.
I had a great holiday, if you were on holiday, I hope you had a blast holiday too!!

*coming up next: The reviews of the movies I have watched during holidays

Day 2 and Day 3 In Cyberjaya

I'm still here in Cyberjaya. I'm going back to Penang on Saturday night. My finals results are out, and I haven't collect it, I'm really scare to look at it... haih...
So, what's in Cyberjaya? hmmm.... apparently nothing, all I know is that MMU and LimKokWing are here. I haven't explore the world of Cyberjaya, these 2 days I've been to one-utama shopping mall, the mall is uber huge and I haven't finish roam the every single corner of it. Feel like going for the third time but it takes 40 minutes drive from the place I'm staying and some more the traffic jam will make the journey takes up to an hour and you have to pay the total of RM6.40 toll fees to and fro.
I had my dinner at Chilli's last night, the portion was too big and we can't even finish... we have to ask for doggy bag. The food was good, of course!!
Picture time!!

- The food-

- my sis and I-

- Don't try to steal my burger~

The evil Kiri scratched me, until like this..... poor me....
-see?-

I'm going to watch the fireworks display held in Putrajaya later, I won't be going to Putrajaya as there definitely have massive jams, so I'm only watching from the lake which separates Cyberjaya and Putrajaya. You know, fireworks are high above the sky, you can see from far away. I'll be going to Putrajaya tomorrow, I've been to the Putrajaya at night but not during the day time, so I want to have a good look at the beautiful place with beautiful buildings and beautiful bridges. I'll take pictures of it and post it up here.
The fireworks display is going to start at 12am tonight, it is actually a competition, i think... tonight is from Japan. Got to go now, adios~

Me, and what I supposed to be

Astrology of Capricorn:
Origin / Representation
Capricorn is represented by a mythical creature who is half goat, half fish. In Greek mythology, the god Bacchus was sitting by a river when he was threatened by a monster. Fearing death, he dove in and transformed himself: underwater he was a fish who survived by swimming; above the water he was a goat with horns who could fight the monster. Jupiter (who, by the way, rules Sagittarius) was impressed enough to promote Bacchus to the heavens, where he remains as the constellation Capricorn to this day.

Capricorn is also the sign of sin and sacrifice. Sagittarius the centaur-archer is believed to have shot Capricorn, transforming him into a sacrificial goat, or scapegoat. This is the very foundation of many religions, including the story of Jesus Christ. (I'm sinful.... and I love to sacrifice?!)

In the Apocalypse, St. John explains that the Sun God (or son of God) is always born at midnight when the sun enters this sign of the winter solstice. The child is born in poverty, in a goat's manger in a stable, so that he can later save humankind as its sacrifical goat.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, a planet that orbits the sun very slowly. As a result, Capricorns are said to think the same way: long-term. Saturn's influence also means that the best day of the week for this sign is Saturday.

conclusion: I'm poor and a kambing korban...

Positive Qualities
You are a tireless worker, to the point of self-martyrdom. You'll do any and all work assigned to you, so that you can impress your superiors and gradually move up the ladder. You will eventually gain more and more status and wealth, but it takes a long time. That's okay with you, though—you've always understood this. (this is so not true... i'm lazy.. )

Chances are, you come from a poor background—like the baby Jesus—and you decided early on that you would work as hard as you could to improve your standing for your family. In fact, you have an innate fear of poverty, so much so that once you've achieved a rank or two in the world you will fight to the death to keep it. (erm.... not really.. )

This is also in keeping with your far-thinking approach to life, as determined by the slow-moving Saturn. You plan, plan, plan. You save, save, save. One would think you a dour person for all this work, but you have your moments of joy— after all, the words saturnalia and bacchanalia apply to you, and both define wild abandon. ( no idea....)

You probably already know a lot about sacrifice. You were the one who stayed up caring for a sick relative when you were a kid, instead of playing with your friends. You're the one who keeps the family together, in fact, when members drift off. You're the glue, the controlling force in this world. Without you, it would simply fall apart. (i dunno about that....)

Similarly, you have a great sense of tradition. You respect what you've inherited, and you believe in cherishing it and handing it down in the same state or better. Be it a grandparent's locket or the oral history of the family, it's safe with you. (dunno..... I dont think so... )

Like your neighboring signs, Sagittarius and Aquarius, you are proudly intellectual. But you're not as argumentative as a Sagittarius. Yours is a quieter wisdom—if you know you're right, you don't believe you have to get into an all-out war just for the show of it. The truth will win out. ( ahhh... i dunno... you think ler?)

For this reason, you make an excellent teacher. In fact, you see the world as very structured, and as you gain rank in the system, you believe in teaching those below you. If you are a teacher, you're probably very strict. It's not due to malevolence, just a strong sense of tradition, of wisdom, of right and wrong, of the merits of hard work. (I dont wanna be a teacher...)

I dont think i have any of the positive qualities.... crap... dont you think so too?!

Trouble Areas
You would think that Capricorns would be capricious. But you're not. Far from it. Oh, you have your occasional gambling binge or Saturday night bash, but for the most part you're very ordered. You live for the future, not for the moment. You're busy planning your life five, ten, twenty years from now while the Sagittarians, Leos, and Arians are living it up. That's all fine, but the problem is, you are easily depressed. (yea... maybe a little true about that, I get depressed at times... but i dont gambling... And I dont have saturday night bash... but I have shopping and movie craze)

In fact, you're probably preoccupied with death. Saturn is often said to be associated with Father Time; others believe it is an evil influence (Saturn and Satan are almost interchangeable). This makes you rather morbid—your sense of humor is sarcastic and dry to the point of being, well, sick. (I'm preoccupied with death.... O.O ....my sense of humor is sarcastic?! i dunno... am I?)

Capricorns are also known for bigotry. It seems your fear of poverty is so strong you'll take any tack to defend the status you've gained in life, and that includes a narrow-minded view of people of different backrounds. You're entitled to your opinions, and you have strong reasons for them, but this inflexible attitude could cause irreperable reputation damage in today's politically correct climate. (I am stubborn... the rest I dunno... )

Saturn's slowness also throws delays into your life. You're used to them by now, but still, you often think you have the worst luck—another ailing relative to care for, or car to fix, or unwelcome responsibility at your job .... You'll do it, because sacrifice is your nature, and when you have time again you'll work harder just to make up for what you lost. (it depends though.... )

This pattern can easily lead to a depressed, bad-things-always-happen-to-me attitude. Don't let it. People really appreciate you—no one else could be a better friend. They also respect your ethics and status. So relax—you'll get what you want, it just takes time, and time is something you know about all too well.

Physical Qualities and Activities
You're a lean, mean, running machine. Seriously. Capricorns are not particularly muscular, but rather lanky. The sign rules locomotion, the knees and joints, and your personality is very driven towards long distances, long time spans, and hard work. So, you're the ideal marathon runner. You also enjoy other endurance events, such as long-distance cycling, rock climbing, mountain climbing, or anything with a similarly daunting goal. (I can't run, I can't climb, I'm physically weak... I'm a sport idiot... and I'm fat)

If you participate in any other sports, it's only to get better at them, or to further your career by being in the right place. Otherwise, you're not the type that will get out and enjoy recreation just for the idle fun of it. (I'm so totally opposite from this...)

Like the other intellectual signs, you do enjoy studying, and you especially love music. There's something in its complexity—particularly in great classical works, its degree of difficulty to master, that you appreciate. (I don't enjoy studying, but I enjoy reading... sometimes... the true part, I love music...)

Preferences
More than any other sign, even Scorpio, you prefer dark colors. Black is you. It goes with your propensity towards depression and death. (not really.... )

Your sense of style is quite traditional and conservative, and here, dark is also preferable—it shows status and power better, and that is, after all, what you spend your life striving for. (not really....)

Once you attain a certain rank, you have a weakness for displaying it. You want a car, for instance, that is above all a status symbol. You take pride in how far you've come, so you want to announce this to the world by buying an expensive, well-made vehicle, such as a BMW. (I want porsche...)

Your home is also impressive, the better to announce your status. In terms of actual taste, though, it may be a bit plain. Traditional. You rely on the good taste of historical style to lend it an air of quality. (a bit true.. I like plain...yet stylish.... historical style... maybe a little...)

The same goes for food. Your sacrificial side has such a strong hold on your work ethic that you often don't stop for food. It's not nearly as important to you as it is to your earth sign relatives, the Taureans and Virgos. And when you do eat, it's never adventurous. Meat and potatoes, chicken, burgers, anything safe. Exotic foods? Never. (this is so wrong about me... I heart food.... glorious fooooood~~~ I would stop work for fooood~~)

Occupations / Financial Profile
You work best in a structure, such as a large corporation, school system, or the military. You appreciate the earning of rank, and once you've achieved it, you hand down the same wisdom to those younger than you. (dunno... but I can tell you i dont really like to work under school system and the military... or maybe I dont at all... )

This makes you an excellent teacher, pastor or priest, or ranking military officer. In business terms, the bigger the company the better, because it offers you the opportunity to work so hard that you climb from the mailroom to the executive suite. In fact, whenever you read about such a success story, it's almost always a Capricorn. (me?! erm... so so wrong... I never wanted to be a teacher... or even a military officer....)

You're quite good with financial data, so a large bank, insurance or investment company is a smart direction for you. As an earth sign and a hard worker, you appreciate buildings as well, so real estate and the construction industry are also recommended. Finally, Capricorn's connection to the bones and teeth can lead you to a successful career as a dentist or orthopedic surgeon. (I'm not really good at finance but i'm studying it... I can never be a dentist dee... though I considered before.. )

Typical famous Capricorns include the hardworking Woodrow Wilson, who began prohibition; the hardest worker of all, Horatio Alger; the industrious Benjamin Franklin; Howard Hughes, Conrad Hilton, Aristotle Onassis, all of whom climbed admirably to the top of the business world; and Richard Nixon, another who climbed with all his might to the top. (ohohoho~~ I wanna be on top of the business world!! but i know none of them... is the Conrad Hilton the person who founded Hilton Hotel? Is that Aristotle we studied in sejarah? the rest... no idea... )

There's also Clara Barton, who founded the Red Cross, exemplifying self-sacrifice. Several pop stars represent the sign's love for music, as well as its tendency to rise to the top of a tough business, including Elvis Presley, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Naomi Judd, John Denver, and Kenny Loggins. (I seriously dunno none of them... do you? or am i the only one?)

Capricorn women are said to have a rather cold beauty. This is evident in Marlene Dietrich, Faye Dunaway, Sade, and Crystal Gayle (another cold beauty, Patricia Neal, is on the Aquarian cusp). (........)

Similarly, the dark, depressed, morbid side of the sign can be seen in the works of Rod Serling, Edgar Allan Poe, J.D. Salinger, and Simone de Beauvoir. (I also dunno none of them...)

Love and Relationships
Because of your great teaching instinct, you often make the mistake of setting up a similar teacher-pupil relationship in your romantic affairs. Nothing could be more disastrous. Successful marriages thrive on equality and complementary qualities, not dominance and submission. However, once you are married, you become a wonderful parent, since you can thrive in the obvious teacher role that parenting provides—it also gives you an heir to whom you can hand down your prized family legacy. (I'm still a teenager~~~ cannot predict future... so I dunno... will see in the future...)

Your ideal partner is likely to be your opposing sign, Cancer. A Cancerian's highest goal is family perfection, something you obviously treasure as well. And while they can understand your sacrificial brooding side just as intensely, their outlook on life is more supportive, caring, and ultimately, more positive. You also get along well with your fellow hard-working earth signs, Taurus (whose loving nature will cheer you up and encourage you) and Virgo (who understands your perfectionism to a tee, and will work harmoniously with you to achieve it, especially in a business partnership). (Cancer... O.o I should marry my sister.... )

You do not get along well with Aries (too impatient and impetuous for your slow-climb approach to life), Gemini (too whimsical, with little regard for your ideals), Leo (too outgoing for you to trust), and Sagittarius (a complete opposite— you would never see eye to eye on anything). (my little sister is Aries... well... I'm the one who is impatient and impetuous to her... and my ex-roomie also aries.. Sandra also aries.. we can get along arr....)

Okay, maybe a little too long... after reading it... I think i born in the wrong zodiac sign dee... oops... I have no similarities to all the situation above... or maybe I'm the unique one? only happens to one in a million... hehe!! anyway... that's just my own opinion... what do think about it then my friends out there? is it like me? Do tell me okay!!

Now think back of it... no wonder last time back in high school... my freinds already told me that my charateristics do not suit capricorn at all.... which is proven true from above... maybe only a small part of it is true...

Movies and Cake

Jia Shuen came over to Butterworth on Saturday, so we went for a movie, erm… two movies. Poor Jia Shuen, Kangar no cinema, so she decided to come over and catch up the movie that she missed. So, we watched The Simpsons movie and Transformers. This is the second time I watched transformers, so for the review, click here.

And for the Simpsons Movie. I didn’t catch the series showing in astro but I heard it’s nice and I read the movie review in the paper and it attracts me to go watch the movie, which I did. Hehe!! The movie was hilarious, the main purpose of the movie is to raise our environmental awareness, dispose your waste properly!! I think the movie was nice, those characters are so funny, especially Homer Simpsons, he was really funny and the ultimate loser dad, but somehow, he is cool!! And his obsession for his pig, that was…. speechless… “spiderpig, spiderpig….” And even Harry Potter pig…. =.= Just go watch it yourselves and you’ll get the picture!! Never forget his family, his wife, Marge, daughter, Lisa, Son, Bart and the youngest daughter Maggie. They have they own characteristics that made them the character.

Oh, I baked cheese cake last week, It was good of course!! Coz I’m the one who baked it. Hehe!! And my lil’ sis also helped me out too!!! I got good feedbacks, that should indicates it’s nice. =P

- cheeeeeeeeesseeeee-

On another thing, I finished the book Happy Potter and the deathly Hallows!!! Yay!! It was really interesting. I didn't sleep well for these few days just to finish the book, I just can't put down the book!! And that's how I've got my panda eyes. Don't get shocked if you see me. Well, as a kind-hearted person as always, I won't spoil the ending of the book in my blog. And so to prevent my fellow friends track me down and cekik me. hehe!! kidding lah!! Just go read the book by yourself, it's soooo exciting to follow what happen to Harry at the end!!

I don’t remember much of the week dee… so that’s all for now. Final exams are coming in two weeks time, so gotta study dee… and two tests coming up next week, and another assignment yet to be done by next week too… sad case… *sob sob*

The ULTIMATE kay poh chi

*today as in wednesday, i supposed to post this yesterday but my phone decided to fail on me*

Today on Sandra and my way back to the hostel, we saw an accident. It's like two cars banged head to head, still wondering how they actually hit each other head to head.... hmmm... I think this is the most reasonable to explain on how they crashed:

- my illustration, fine, i know my drawing sucks

Here are the actual cars:

- badly crashed

okay, here's the point, people are kay poh chi, whenever they see an accident, they will slow down or even stop to kay poh, and the accident scene will be crowded. Don't believe me? Believe it!! I even have a photo as proof, see:

- see?? okay, maybe not too many...

okay fine, I'm one of those people who stop down and kay poh. I'm not hypocrite, I admit I'm kay poh too. I just can't resist the nature behaviour of human!!! who can?!

Anyway, on another totally unrelated stuff. I DONE my Law assignment today. Okay this might not be surprising to you. But hey!! The due date is on this Saturday. ME actually finished it BEFORE the due date!!! yay!! Done is done, but whether correct or not is another thing dee.. hehe!! anyway!! can you feel my joy?! But, another assignment is coming up tomorrow, BLARDY econs assignment and I still have another one yet to complete. Luckily the due date is somewhere in August.
Don't you just HATE the end of semester? Only at the end of the semester you tend to feel all the stress build up on you. Assignments, test and the worst, FINAL EXAMS!!! My semester is coming to an end in mid August. So my finals will be on around 13 August, crap... and I'm still in the blur blur state, double crap!! A lot of stuff to catch up but so little time... sigh...

Harry Potter and The Order of the pheonix

Yes, I went to watch the movie yesterday with Hui Peng and her two little sisters. Went to the dunno-what-cinema in Pacific. Their showing time SURPRISINGLY punctual. So I missed the first 10 minutes. DAMN IT!!! It says show at 2pm, I went at like 2.15pm as normally the cinema advertisements take up to at least 20 minutes, who knows when I went in, it's started!!! URGH!!!
This is a little review of the movie from my opinion.
The movie was nice, but if it doesnt go in to the "operation room", it would be even better. My friend told me that the movie was originally like 3 hours something, but after that, it is being choped here and there and left the pathetic 2 hours and 15 minutes. (well, I dunno whether it's true or not coz I can't find any pages that state the actual movie lenght) I think it's the shortest in the series so far. A lot of the details in the book have been cut off, so it was a bit dissapointing to me. If you never read the book and you watch the movie, you might get a little lost when you watch it. Hui Peng didn't read the book and she missed the fourth movie, so she was like "who is she?" "why things turn out like that?" "erm... why I never see this person before?" But undeniable, the graphics were good. A lot of magic were involved and the main characters have grown up. But I still prefer the cute little Harry. Oh, I hate professor Umbridge, especially when she made the disgusting laughter, summore she loves pink!!!! After the movie, I think I've got a temporary disgust to pink. ARGHHH!!!!!
Well, I like the part where the Weasly brothers created havoc in the exam hall and lead to chaos, though the part was different from what is described in the book. Totally different!! But you still get the idea what are they trying to convey. I also like the near-ending part where a lot of magic fighting were involved, it was pretty cool!!

Conclusion, the movie was a bit dissapointing but it was still okay in the overall. But Hui Peng claimed that it was boring... well.. everyone has their own point of view...

Movie!!

After 2 days of stressing out ourselves doing the DAMN ecomonics assignment, Sandra and I went to Queensbay and watched Transformers. Stressing ourselves huh?? Why suddenly I became so hardworking... hehe, sound so impossible for me... and yes, I haven't done YET... but I did do.... just maybe not as much as her... you know... when she concentrates, she is really concentrating, not like me, easily get distracted, but I would say this time is a HUGE improvement for me dee!! At least I just left one sub question only... whenever I switch on the computer, I'll go online, check mails, blog hoping, surfing for no reasons... that's why I can never finish my assignment in the time I set for myself UNLESS I need to pass it up the very next day. =P

Anyway, what I wanted to say is TRANSFORMERS RAWKS!!!! It was AWESOME!!! OOh, I just LOVE when they transformed into robots!!! Frankly speaking, I don't even feel like watching it when I knew there is this movie, but then later on, I got good feedback from friends and it's like the media promoting it everywhere then only I feel like watching it. I don't regret I watched it infact I'm SO GLAD that I watched it!! If not, I'll be missing a good movie of the year!!!
After the movie, Sandra and I were wishing our cars could morph into one of those in the movie and get out of the jam immediately!! ooh, that would be sooooo COOL!!
I definitely recommend it to my friends!! So my pal out there!! GO WATCH IT NOW!!! I MEAN IT!! You definitely gonna regret if you miss this!!

Recap

Going out a lot last week, so many things to blog about and I dont have time to do so. So basically I'll just briefly sort out by day a bit and won't go into details. So here goes:

Tuesday:
Yik Han's birthday, so brought her to Sunway Mall to celebrate before she went to UM to further her studies.

Wednesday:
Went out with Justin and Sandra. Sandra and I went to Gurney and met up with Justin. Basically we were just walk around and talk. We went in to this Apple outlet in Gurney and we were like cam-whoring/gigolo.... haha and this is one of the pic:

- Ain't creepy?-

Ever since Sandra had to divorce her car aka her baby, she is so obsessed with purple kembara. Whenever she sees one, she will be like " oh, is that my baby?" "oh oh!! I see my car" "eh, that looks like my car"
We planned to have our dinner at yosenabe opposite peng hua, we were really starved ourselves for that. And by the time we reached there....
...

...
...
"where is the restaurant?"
"I'm sure it was there!!"
"oh my god!! The restaurant CLOSED DOWN DEEEE!!!"
"WHAT THE!!! *faint*"
And so Sandra don't get to eat at the restaurant where she was so excited about to go there... you can imagine the situation dont you??
Then, we headed back to the Cantoment Road(if I spelled it correctly) and had "tong shui"(cantonese) but someone is carnivore who needs MEAT in every meal, so the someone didnt had the nice "tong shui" After that, spotted this ice-cream outlet namely Lecka-Lecka but unfortunately they just moved in so there is NO ice-cream for us. Fine, no ice-cream, wanna eat Cendol, who knows we were so damn unlucky, FINISHED DEE!!!! haih.... sad case... Finally, we decided to have our dinner at a nice western restaurant near one-stop. To make sure we have no more dissapoinment, the three of us were like quickly call up our friends that know what time is the rastaurant open and when it closed to make sure it's open that day. THANK GOD IT'S OPEN!! So, this is what we had that day:

Sunday:
Justin and Sandra came over to Prai at evening, and Sandra's main purpose to here is to hijack my books!! And yes she succeed...

- Sandra and I in my room(i'm not undressing her!!)-

My dad brought us to a restaurant to have my favourite dish, curry fish head which located in Chai Leng Park. It was so good!! Love that so much!! After dinner, I brought them to the newly opened Sunway Mall. We stayed until like most of the shops closed dee. The craziest thing I ever done in my life!! Got into the display car and snapped pictures!! And played with the new cars, explored their functions. As Justin said, they were never gonna meet those people anymore so might as well go crazy... yah... but I'll be still around there... hopefully no one recognizes me the next time I go. Hehe!! But I would say it was really fun!!

KAREN IS BACK!!!!!!!
OOh, I missed her sooo much ever since she gone to Switzerland to further her studies!! The two of them were planned to give me the surprise!! Which I did get surprised!! Justin was trying to cheat me when I reached there by telling me that we have to wait for a friend of his and I didn't suspect anything at all!! How am I going to suspect when I have totally don't have a single clue that Karen is coming back? And after we waited for a while, Karen pop up infront of the car!! I was like " OH MY GOD!!!! KAREN!!!!!!" "SHE IS BACK!!!!!!" "AHHHHHHH" I was really shocked to see her!! Oh my, I still can't believe that she is back and she gave me the surprise. I was soooo excited the whole day!! I still remember that whenever I asked her when is she coming back, everytime she told me it's a surprise. And yes she did it, I got the surprise!! =D

- Karen, Justin and me-

After that, we had our lunch in a nyonya restaurant. The food was good but you have to wait for a long time for the food to come. Probably they have too little workers. THANKS FOR THE LUNCH KAREN!! From that day, I only got to know that all these years, I had a lot of nyonya food cooked by my aunty, just that I didn't know it's nyonya, sad case I know. Anyway, I got to know it after all, it's still not too late isn't it?
After lunch, we went to Queensbay Mall as that's the mall that Karen never been to. You know what people normally do when go to mall don't you. So that's what we did. Here is one of the photos:

- the three of us-
you're right Justin, the more I look, the more I like this photo =P

Opening of another new mall

Sunway Carnival Mall is OPENED!! It’s in Seberang Jaya, I think the place is called Sunway too as there is this sunway hotel there too. Apparently the Sunway Company bought the whole place up and yes, Sunway Carnival Mall is from the same company who owns the Sunway Pyramid in KL. And it is the first mall in northern region which has LCD screen to give you a guide of what shops are available in the mall.

The place is not that big though. It is freezing cold inside the mall. Parkson is their anchor tenant. Quite a lot of shops are not open yet but I get to know some brands that available and those going to open like Guess, Esprit, New Balance, Elements, PDI, Vincci, Sakae Sushi, Manhattan Fish Market, Nandos, Dragon-I, Laksa Shack, GSC, and etcetera. I would say it’s just like another Queensbay Mall but in a smaller version. But it’s still kinda cool too!! Just can’t wait until GSC open!!!!

you can check out more about the mall over here.

Checked out the new mall yesterday and today… roam finished dee I THINK… went with Yik Han today as today is her birthday. Happy Birthday Yik Han!! She is leaving soon, gonna miss her so much!! Anyway, congratulation to her!! She got her first choice university which is UM, the best university in Malaysia so far.

Recap of last week

I baked cookies last week!!!! Of course I would say it’s nice since I’m the one who baked it… but it seems like I have got good responds too from my friends who I let them to try.

This is my very first batch of cookies:

Ooh, I’ve got this whole season 1 Heroes series from my sister. I have watched a couple episodes of it and I think it was good!! The storyline is kinda interesting, let me brief you a little about the series. There are these people who has different powers and they thought they were like everyone else until they found out that they have incredible abilities one day. They don’t know each other but you can see that they are actually connected to each other in some other way and they slowly get to know each other as the series go. It’s kinda mysterious… you just have to WATCH IT!!!!

On Friday, outing with Justin, Sandra and Daphne, megasale in Queensbay, Sandra and Daphne shopped in craze. I can see sale everywhere but not in GAP!! WHY??? WHY??!!!! HATE IT!! We spent our day just walk walk and chat chat... then we planned to have our dinner at Yosenabe and we starved ourselves to death just to leave more spaces in our stomach so that we can eat more later as that’s the type of place where you can eat-all-you-can by paying some sum of money. Sadly when we reached there, the restaurant was CLOSED!!! What the bloody hell!!! Apparently they have different working time as the one opposite Peng Hwa there. Sad case we didn’t know… so we ended up having our dinner at a Chinese restaurant and Sandra can have her all time favourite Lemon Chicken.

The next day, I have got a serious stomachache for dunno what reason. I thought it was food poisoning but I had all others have too but it seems like I’m the only one who suffered the pain. My mom and my uncle told me it’s the respond I got when I had my chakras opened which I don’t think it is. The pain was really killing me and it made me vomited all the food I had for the day. It was really awful. Now I’m wondering how I actually manage to take the pain and drove all the way from college-to-town-to-bayan lepas-to-home. I think it’s probably the pain strikes me like every half and hour but not all the time. For the rest of the day, I ended up didn’t eat anything until I’ve got gastric pain that night. It’s not I don’t want to eat. I did eat!! It’s just that I vomited dee. So for the last two days, I only had one proper meal which was yesterday lunch which was only vege and soup and 3 pieces of chiffon cake until today I’m so…so… much more better dee!! THANK GOD!!! Stomachache is the WORST feeling you can ever get!!

So that's all!! Wanna continue to watch Heroes now!! Tata!!

Longevitology

It’s been a hectic week last week, I attended this thing called longevitology which lasted for 6 days. I don’t really know what it is about but it seems like you can heal a person by “touching” on the illness places for 10 minutes or more. You can even heal yourself!! But I think this miracle only happens on the person who has good karma. If it happens on everyone, then doctors are in excess. I wouldn’t say I believe it or not, but the truth is if everyone can be healed like that, then doctors are useless dee!! If you want to heal someone, you must have your chakras opened first then only you can do so. And I made a little research on this, and this is it about:

Longevitology is a hand on healing technique developed by Ling Zi Zhen, a native of Taiwan (Republic of China). It has started with Ms Ling treating family and friends to now a non-profit orgnization with thoudsands of volunteers. Since its begining in the early eighties it has brought healing power to millions worldwide.

Longevitology is a natural therapy healing method that uses the human body to receive energy from the universe. It involves the relaxation of the body and mind in order to acquire the energy in a natural way. This is achieved by sitting quietly without any complicated body positions and quieting the heart (mind). The whole process is done naturally, therefore there are no side effects and can be practised by anybody regardless of their race, political belief, conviction or religion.

Longevitology believes that good health is the result of chi and blood flowing smoothly and any maladjustment between them will result in illness. Disease or illness is cured when the energy acquired by the above mentioned technique enters our body and then energizes every cell, enabling the body organs to function normally. This will lead to chi and blood flowing actively thus improving circulation and metabolism, raising the levels of antibodies and improving the immune system of the body. As a result of this, the filth of a disease is expelled by the metabolic system of the body itself thus the whole healing process is natural and does not involve any medical equipment, massage, oral medication or drugs. Most importantly, there are no side effects and it is perfectly safe.

The rest of my last week will be continue on the next post as I don’t want to make this post too long.

My Rants

Do I look depressed? I dunno really know. Why don't you tell me?

- am I?-

My mom said I look depressed, and she told me twice for this week dee... maybe I'm kinda quietly lately... erm I mean at home. But sometimes I do feel down, this feeling strikes me once in a while for god knows what reasons. Am I the only who has this kind of feeling?? Or it's normal? But I'm now better dee... also for no reasons, it just fade off when time passes.

Oh, for those people who dunno what the hell chiam chiam is, here is the picture of it. And yes I mean you Justin.

- chiam chiam-

And for those people who dunno what the hell lok lok is, here's the picture of it. And yes, I mean you Sandra.

- lok lok-

Movie and Shopping

Wednesday, went for movie with Justin and Sandra!! Watched Shrek 3!! It was funny~~ Gingy was sooo cute, as well as Puss in Boots and Donkey too!! I missed out Shrek 2 but I think I can still catch up with the story in shrek 3.

After the movie, we tried out the Dragon-i restaurant. I ordered the what dee huh??? ummmmmmmmm.... hot and sour?? I dont really remember the name, but it was quite nice, I just remember the word sour... Oh Mee Gawd!! Am I suffering temporary memory loss??!!! I'm still so young!!!! HOW CAN IT BE???? It can't be!! Maybe I wasn't paying that much attention to the name, must be like that!! I know it was ramen. Coz' the waiter asked me
waiter: do you want to cut your mee?
me: what for?
waiter: coz it's handmade ramen, so it's very long
me: ok then
(conversation translated from mandarin)
And Sandra ordered Si Chuan ramen. I remember that coz I wanted to order that but then later I spotted something I wanted more. The soup got peanuts!! Very weird. Sandra's tongue numb enough as she can't taste the peanuts until it's finishing and I know it has peanuts in the soup from the very 1st sip I tried. I sound very proud don't I?? Well.... maybe a little... teehee =P
Justin ordered something got duck meat in it, and it is the healthiest among us as Sandra's 1 fulled of oil, mine 1 very starchy while his 1 is plain healthy soup.
I tried the famous xiao long pao too, it was good!!! This is how you should eat it, step by step:
1st, you take a small little bite
2nd, suck out all the soup in it
finally, you eat the dumpling. Remember to dip it with some vineger plus ginger which makes it more tasty.
After the lunch, walked here and there. Went to Padini, bought 2 clothes. To me, I counted it as 1. I tried the same clothes for like dunno how many times. Choosing the right colour, then the right size. First I tried white, then yellow, then grey. Decided to buy grey, but unfortunately no my size dee!! No choice, tried white again, then looked looked here and there, okay buy!! Sandra bought one too!! She also tried for many times, opt for the right colour. I know I'm choosy or even picky but I must make sure I have no regrets on something I buy, or in the economic term, cognitive dissonance. Justin was so nice waiting for the two of us picking the right ones. =D I can say it was a very rare occasion for me to buy clothes, somemore with friends!! I also don't know what changes me. But it was a great experiance!!
Then Sandra wanted to buy white coffee, so we went to Jusco. And you know what?? She was standing infront of the rack selling instant coffee for like half an hour choosing the brand of the coffee she had the day before and she doesn't even know the brand of the white coffee. The only thing she knew was it is IPOH WHITE COFFEE. And the rack there got numerous brands of IPOH WHITE COFFEE. In the end, she took the 1 which the packaging looks like the 1 she had.
Our new record!! 7 hours 45 minutes. It broke my record!!! But you just don't feel like you've been there for so long as we were having a lot of fun there. Time flies when you're having fun!!

An evening with the melodious dragon

I supposed to post this earlier but I was lazy to do so, so I just do it now.

I went to this chinese orchestra performance last sunday. It was good. 1097 performers were involved in this performance and I found out that Jeremy was 1 of the performers too. Frances Yip was the guest performer of the night. She was great, she has great vocal!! Maybe she is not familiar to teenagers but she is very popular among the older people like your parents perhaps... but undeniable, she was indeed the international star. To me, I felt like that night was her personal concert more than the chinese orchestra performance as I can only felt the crowd by the time she performs.

- Frances Yip-

In overall, the performance was good, and they hold the record of the largest chinese orchestra performance in Malaysia or even South Est Asia in the Malaysia book of record. I heard that the sound system they used was the best too!!

That was my first time attending a chinese orchestra performance and I had a great time there with my little sis. OH, so sad my big sis missed out that... she wanted to go sooo much!!
