The day

The Laksa Day
I was craving for laksa the other day... then Yik Han suddenly told me she wants to cook laksa, asked me to teach her, so, we cooked laksa!! wee~~ It looks very easy to cook, but then the work to do is a lot!! First, go market buy all the ingredients, then cook the fishes, then take off the bones, then cook the soup, then dump in all the fishes without bones and voila!! My laksa done!! Sounds easy don't it?? Well, I would say it's not easy, especially cleaning the fishes. The laksa does satiate my cravings for laksa, but just that our proportions for the ingredients was a bit wrong, but still ok. Her colleagues also say it was good. Oooh, and Yik Han's lil sis helped us too, thanks to her for helping!!
- tada!!
A random photo of the day:

The Wesak Day
The day before, helped out my aunt to arrange the flowers, get to know the names of some flowers, like what blue peacock, white peacock, carnation, poppy, pompom and etcetera. Night, went to Lay buddhist society, watching my students or I should say my ex-students doing kolam, kaypo abit around, joined them for the event passing the light. On the day, as usual, went to penang and pray, and then walk walk around the temple. Then at night, joined the wesak day floats, walk for like 3 hours, tired!

Health

Health is very important to us, health is wealth, you can do nothing without a healthy body though you have lots and lots of money. Why am I saying this here? Coz' my little sis and my friend are having this problem. Start with my lil sis 1st, the doctor diagnose her as suffering slipped disk.

Slipped Disk Overview

The disks are protective shock-absorbing pads between the bones of the spine. Although they do not actually "slip," a disk may split or rupture. This can cause the disk to fail, allowing the gel to escape into the surrounding tissue. The leaking jellylike substance can place pressure on the spinal cord or on a single nerve fiber and cause pain either around the damaged disk or anywhere along the area controlled by that nerve. This condition is also known as a herniated, ruptured, prolapsed, or, more commonly, slipped disk.

The most frequently affected area is the low back, but any disk can rupture, including those in the neck. (adopted from www.emedicinehealth.com)

According to the doctor, slipped disk normally occurs on elder people, and my little sister is far way too young to have this thing. But the truth is the truth, what can we do?? She went through the MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging), and the results came out show it is slipped disk.

Slipped Disk Causes

Factors that lead to injury from a slipped disk include aging with associated degeneration and loss of elasticity of the discs and supporting structures; improper lifting, especially if accompanied by twisting or turning; and excessive strain. Sudden forceful trauma is a more rare cause.

Slipped Disk Symptoms

The nerves of the body exit the spine at each spinal level. A herniated disk can therefore produce symptoms anywhere along the course of that nerve, though the injury and irritation of the nerve are at the spine itself (this is known as referred pain). A slipped disk can produce varying degrees of pain in the back or neck along with numbness or weakness.

  • For slipped disks in the neck - Numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain in the shoulder, neck, arm, or hand

  • For slipped disks in the lower back

    • Numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain in the buttocks, back, legs, or feet

    • Numbness and tingling around the anus or genitals

    • Pain down the back of each leg from the buttocks to the knee (this is called sciatica)

    • Pain with movement, straining, coughing, or doing leg raises

    • Difficulty controlling bowel movements or bladder function

(above informations are adopted from www.emedicinehealth.com)

Now, my poor lil sis has to lie on the bed whole day as doctor said bed rest is the only thing she can do now. Walk also pain, sometimes lying also pain, I don't know what to do... I can do nothing..... haih....

Then now my friend, doctor don't even know what happen to her, she also went through the MRI, doctor said is rare case, they never see this case before, so have to take sample and send to other place and see. Her thigh swelling, walk too long will pain. Haih....

So, my friends out there, please take good care of your health. It's not fun at all having sickness, I'm seeing my lil sister suffering at home and my friend also suffering pain.

Time flies..... the 1st semester finished!!! yay!!! So, that means I am freeeee!!! Free baby FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!................ Sadly two weeks only, never mind, still happy, at least it is better than when I was in HSC, a week only...
So, yesterday, after my exam, accompany Sandra to go for a interview for Emirates airline, waited her for 2 hours.... nearly fall asleep because I was really tired that time. Then went to her house, which was really nice... got super nice view from her balcony.... you can see the sea.... beautiful sea.... sooo wanted to post the picture up here but I can't find my cable, darn it... hopefully I didn't lost it. Then Gurney.... McD ( thanks for the meal Sandra!!)....movie.... watched Wild Hogs, it was funny, really funny.... and entertaining.. I laughed until my jaw and stomach hurt.... when you go wild, things turn out unpredictable.

Since I'm on holiday now, I plan to go down to Cyberjaya next week to find my sis. Then go KL, wanted to go Melaka but I don't think my sis is free enough to take me there. I wanted to go Cyberjaya before wesak day, so that I have plenty of time over there, but there are other things that keep me from going there ealier.... sad... so I probably will go after that dee... ok then...

Yay!!

Yay!! Finally I bought my wallet today!!! Well, I did kinda "yim chim", chose for like an hour... aiyo... and made Sandra go crazy, oops.... because I don't want to experiance cognitive dissonance mah... quite like it because this is what I prefer, plain, not much embroided stuff and design and it is not very expensive. =D HAPPY!! Yeah, so I went out with Sandra today, do our statistics assignment at Ah Lim's house, finished Question 2 and 3 but not 1. Which unexpectedly I am the one who did the Question 2 and 3. That's right!! ME!! Can you believe it?? =P So, you must be wondering why? how come?? It is because of the BLOODY MOCHA that I had last night. Maybe I'm too sensitive with the kafein, so, the mocha makes me couldn't sleep till like 4 something A.M. so, eventually I used the time to do the assignment. Only smart people use their time doing something useful, hehe!! =P

Okay, so back to what happened on yesterday, reached home at 7 after my economics test, surprisingly met Hui Peng, she suddenly appears infront of my house, waving at me, and I still wondering who's that, do I know her?? Ooooh, It's you!!! It's been months since the last time I saw her, and so we decided to go to have a drink or something and do some catching up to what's happened in each other's life. What a happy evening we had, and we chatted for hours!! =D

Finish the happy talks, so now let me tell you how pissed am I on something. So, there is this people in my course, he didn't put in any efforts in any subjects. When we have assignment, he no need to do, he'll just ask from someone and take it and print, so easy hor... no need to do and get marks for it. Last friday, which was the day we needed to pass up our computing assignment, I bet he didn't do anything, and he asked from us, which is me and Sandra to borrow him our assignment to let him see how we did it which apparently we think he wants to print out our assignment and pass up. I was like why should I borrow him ar? I put so much effort on it and do a lot of adjustments on the mistakes that I've done and he just take it like that and use it. But I did make a copy for him since I'm always that nice... =P but this is really unfair... I do it and you take it, I don't mind if you ask me how to do and I'll teach you, I don't mind if you at least try but still don't get it then only ask from me, but he is really too much, he didn't try at all, he never listen in class, he never study and he pass up blank papers in the exam, somemore can play handphone during the exam while the rest of us busying doing. I'm really pissed!! Well it actually got nothing to with me how he wasted his time, money or whatever thing, but I just can't stand on this type of people, if you don't want to study why you go to college??? ooops.... I think I've gone tooo far away... why don't I just end typing about him here?? Alright!!

Okay, I better go sleep dee. Slept late last night because of the mocha and woke up at early(compare to the time I normally wake up) today and still haven't rest till now yet. So, Good night!!

Sad me

I wanna cry... account ar account, why I can't understand you?? Why?? I want to know more about you, oh please... I flunk my account test today. And tommorow I have economics test, now still working on my computing assignment which I need to hand in tomorrow, and there is this statistics assignment that I need to hand in on monday and I did nothing on it yet. Arrghhhh!!!

On another unrelated thing, I am sick these 2 days, got blocked nose, sore throat, cough, lost my voice then yesterday diarrhea somemore. Luckily I'm feeling better today, if not tomorrow I will flunk my economics test again. I was absent from my classes yesterday, luckily I didn't go, and I no need to give any reason why am I absent, coz the teacher is on medical leave without giving us any notice, if did I go, I will be pissed of wasting my money and time drive all the way to college and go back home again.
Sorry if I'm wasting your time for reading this, I just want to pour out my feelings...

Help!!

Exams coming, have to do revision for the upcoming final exams and the test for the next 2 weeks dee!! And still got 2 more assignments waiting for me to complete it. Arrghhh!!
Last friday, econs class was canceled, last minute noticed, I was in Queensbay Mall, give up the movie I wanna watch just because I wanted to attend the class, at the end, at 4 o'clock, there is this message sent to me telling me that econs class canceled!! I was like what the.... If wanna cancel the class tell earlier la... aiyo...
Today, had lunch with Justin, wanna search for a wallet for myself, but end up didn't manage to find one, I think it's because I am too choosy, hmm... a bit way too choosy. Fine, I'll search for it some other day... can anyone tell me where can I find a girly type wallet which is simple yet nice? I would prefer it to be plain, not much embroided stuff and design. hehe!! choosy people is like that 1, whoever go shopping with me can go crazy. I don't mean to be like that, but don't like means don't like, can't help.
So, that's all. Going to sleep dee, tomorrow still have class... night.. Zzzzz...

I know some of you people will say 2 weeks only ar?? But hey!! I used to go there at least once a week, since this year la. Wanted to go too... but then no one going with me, what to do?? Stay in the library lor... good too la, since exam coming, then heap of assignments to do... haih... but if anyone wants to go out with me, hehe, that's another thing dee. Have to relax people, cannot be too stressed, later the work you do got quantity no quality, then not good also!!
So, that's all.......

Test 2

Did badly in my accounting test 2 today, got only 2 questions, can do the 1st but not the second, for the 2nd question, quarter careless, half dunno and another quarter I think is correct... I think... hopefully it is... haih... how am I gonna study accounting later?? But I think I did better than last time.... kua.... hmm... need to do more exercise dee!!
So today, played basketball with my coursemates. The total 9 people of us were divided into 2 groups. 1st group, Cien, Joe, Wei, Hua and me, 2nd group, Mou, Nicole, Jerayn and Siang. 5 people Vs 4 people, of course we won!! But this also needs to thank to our group's skillful players!! Tired and sweat a lot yet happy!! After that, on my way back to Butterworth, met horrible jam, the jam started not even I reach the bridge. By being informed by Jerayn and Joe earlier, so Nicole and I decided to escape from this jam and take a detour back to Bukit Jambul there and have our dinner with Joe and Hua. Later only we found out the reason for the jam. ( Don't think it's nice to write the reason here, if you're interested to know, ask me in personal) Finally I reached home at 10p.m.

Review of last week

Last week, watched 2 movies, 1st was the pursuit Of Happyness which was very touching... a story inspired by true story and being nominated for some awards.

The 2nd movie was Bridge to Terabithia, nice movie, although the ending was a bit weird, not to say weird, it's out of my expectation, but in the overall, it's still nice!! The girl was pretty too!!

Saturday was fun, we had this farewell thing for Khang May, where she will be leaving to India on Sunday. So, on that day, Justin, Jeremy, Khang May, Lee Xin and of course me, went to a Japanese steamboat restaurant, named Yosenabe to eat steamboat, pay for like about RM30 per person, and you can eat anything you want!! Included Unagi and Salmon which I personally think quite worth it as what I know about their prices in some other shops. So, we ended up ordered 6 plates of Unagi and 6 plates of Salmon which were really nice!! Oh, thanks to Justin for frying it all for us!! Besides that, there are also some other food like fish slices, salmon slices, fish dumpling, prawn dumpling, various kind of mushroom, various kind of tofu, salmon ball... and many more!! Great lunch!! We ate from like 1.30pm to about 4pm which later we found out that the restaurant actually closed at 2.30pm. Ohohoho, so the restaurant was empty except us. At the end, all of us ate until sooo full!! I was thinking, if everyday there are people like us go to the restaurant and eat until so crazily, it might bankrupt one day, hehe!!
After that, we took some photos at an almost-broken swing, quite fun actually. Then Khang May went home to continue pack her stuff while Justin, Lee Xin and me went to Queensbay Mall walk walk. SALE everywhere, but no-no, no more shopping for me as I spent too much these days as the result of going out too much lately... I'm broke... *cry*. Finally, I went home at like 8 o'clock something, I actually I can make it earlier but SOMEONE gave me the wrong direction where I supposed to turn right but SOMEONE told me to turn left!! Yes YOU!! Don’t deny, Lee Xin and me heard the same!! And made me turn a big round back to where I supposed to be.

Okay, I planned not to eat dinner after my lunch, but on my way home, I remembered my mum cooked my favourite food!! So, I ate dinner, which made me really super duper full!! ooh... gain 1kg on that day!!! sad... have to do more exercise to burn up all the carbs that I've consumed!!

So, that's all for today's post, will try to post up some pictures when I get them.

Shout out: Bye Khang May, Vicky and Yee Yong!! Au revoir~~

Movie Day

Last week was fun, went out with Sandra on saturday, and her brother and a friend of them with the shername Lim. Firstly, went to McD to finish up our statistic assignment that we need to hand in on Monday, then we watched dreamgirls, it's superb nice!! The story was so touching... and I just love all those songs inside the movie, it's nice~~ just gotta love the movie!!

Then on Sunday, brought my niece to Queensbay Mall, watched Norbit, It was funny, the woman was sooo fat, you can see all the fats hooked on her body and then swing swing swing when it moves... ewww... imagine!! Yet she dont feel like she is FAT!! Overall, one word funny!!

Listen by Beyonce' knowles from the motion picture Dreamgirls

Listen,
To the song here in my heart
A melody I've start
But can't complete

Listen, to the sound from deep within
It's only beginning
To find release

Oh,
the time has come
for my dreams to be heard
They will not be pushed aside and turned
Into your own
all cause you won't
Listen....

[Chorus]
Listen,
I am alone at a crossroads
I'm not at home, in my own home
And I tried and tried
To say whats on my mind
You should have known
Oh,
Now I'm done believin you
You don't know what I'm feelin
I'm more than what, you made of me
I followed the voice
you gave to me
But now I gotta find, my own..

You should have listened
There is someone here inside
Someone I'd thought had died
Sooo long ago

Ohh I'm free now and my dreams to be heard
They will not be pushed aside on words
Into your arms
All cause you won't
Listen...

[Chorus]

I don't know where I belong
But i'll be movin on
If you don't....
If you won't....

LISTEN!!!...
To the song here in my heart
A melody I've start
But I will complete

Oh,
Now i'm done believin you
You dont know what I'm feelin
I'm more than what, you made of me
I followed the voice, you think you gave to me
But now I gotta find, my own..
my ownn...

Happy Chinese New Year!!

Happy Chinese New Year to all people!! As usual, I spent my New Year in Kelantan, typical balik kampung. Well, I just knew that there're only 5% of chinese in Kelantan, not so much New Year decor along the street or mall as like here in Penang, but still I can feel the New Year atmosphere in Kelantan as all my relatives are there. Besides that, New Year time let my parents to reunion with their brothers and sisters, we go from one house to another and just sit there and let our parents do their talking while us, me and my sisters will sit aside and listen to what are them talking about and then eat cookies and then watching tv. Of course, collecting ang pao cannot be put aside, hehe!! =P
Never forgot my favourite mee --> xin hua mee!! It's superb delicious!!! Which is cooked by my big aunt. Yummy~~ my saliva is coming out dee~~ I only able to eat this mee during New Year time as I only go back once a year. Hoho, got the recipe from my aunt dee, will try to cook one day... one day.... ( I don't know why I'm unable to post up picture, so i'll post up the picture of my favourite mee next time when I can)
Okay, so yesterday I went out with Lee Xin, Khang May and Justin. Went from house to another, hehe!! And then sit at their houses for hours, our breakfast and lunch are the cookies available in our house. In the morning, Khang May and Justin came to my house, so sorry that gave the wrong direction to my house and cause them to spend RM2.40 for the sake of the toll that newly opened at the highway. But because of them, I only knew that the views there are so nice!! After that, went to Lee Xin's house, continue with Justin, Khang May and Jeremy, and went back home at 7p.m. At night, want to watch my neighbour praying as yesterday was the ninth day of Chinese New Year, stay awake until 2 a.m., I know i'm crazy, standing at the balcony there in the mid of the night. The consequence is that I'm unable to wake up this morning and so I skipped my statistic class. haih.... Tomorrow I've got my account test, I'm so dead now and so I'm going to do a lot of catch up now dee. Bye!!

Jesse McCartney - Just so you know

I shouldn't love you but I want to
I just can't turn away
I shouldn't see you
I can't look away

And I don't know how to be fine when I'm not
'Cause I don't know how to make a feeling stop

Just so you know
This feeling's taking control of me
And I can't help it
I won't sit around; I can't let him win now
Thought you should know
I've tried my best to let go of you
But I don't want to
I just gotta say it all
Before I go
Just so you know

It's gettin' hard to be around you
There's so much I can't say
Do you want me to hide the feelings
And look the other way

And I don't know how to be fine when I'm not
'Cause I don't know how to make a feeling stop

Just so you know
This feeeling's taking control of me
And I can't help it
I won't sit around; I can't let him win now
Thought you should know
I've tried my best to let go of you
But I don't want to
I just gotta say it all
Before I go
Just so you know

The emptiness is killing me
And I'm wondering why I've waited so long
Looking back I realize
It was always there just never spoken
I'm waiting here...been waiting here

Just so you know
This feeling's taking control of me
And I can't help it
I won't sit around; I can't let him win now
Thought you should know
I've tried my best to let go of you
But I don't want to
I just gotta say it all
Before I go
Just so you know

Out again...

Yeah, still not enough for last week, I've got 6 hours break last Friday, and so Nicole and I decided to go to Queensbay Mall to watch a movie and spend our free time. And so, we watched "Epic Movie". For the people I asked to go with but then they didn't, luckily you people didn't go, the movie was so stupid. Never seen such stupid movie before!! The movie is made up from the main character from many movies like “X-men”, “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory”, “Click”, “The Chronicle of Narnia”, “Superman”, “Nacho Libre”, “Snakes on the Plane”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Scary Movie”, “Da Vinci Code”, and much more, and then they made it so stupid. No offence to those who thinks it is nice, this is just purely me and my friend’s opinion. We just think not worth watching, we should watch “Death Note 2”, at least it might be better than “Epic Movie”. And the cinema was so empty, I mean, there is no more than 20 people inside the cinema, and the movie is newly released, maybe it’s because it’s still morning, so no one going yet. Since that day was the grand opening of the cinema, so we got free candy floss!
Well, then, I went out again on Saturday and Sunday to Pacific Megamall, on Saturday, I went there with Yik Han and met up with Kai Xin to return her stuff back to her, while on Sunday, I went there with my family, planned to buy clothes, but then ended up didn’t buy anything.
Apart from that, our 1st assignment was given today, aww… long time didn’t do assignment dee, and now have to do again dee, never mind, let’s give it a good start!! I was wondering, why is that we have to write an essay of self-reflection in our statistic assignment? How it’s related to the subject? Hmm… can anyone tell me?
Here is the picture of the almost-empty cinema:

- the people were all behind me, in front of me are empty-

And now, I’m gonna smack my computer into pieces!! This is the 2nd time I type this post!! I dunno what happened to my computer but it always automatically restart once a while!! HATE IT!! Arrggggh!!

And so, I was stuck not even I reached the toll... and so, i missed my computing class, and the teacher is so nice that she let me absent with permission then I don't have to summit a letter. Phew!!

Time passes so fast, it's already the 3rd week since the classes started. Well, homeworks are coming... but I managed to finished it in the classroom, so it's like I don't have to do when I get back home!! *grin* But still have to do some that don't have enough time to finish in the class... 1st test is on the 6th week and now is already the 3rd week dee!! OMG!!
Just forget about that, so, I went to Queensbay with Khang May last friday during my 4 hours break, we talked and walked and took a glance at those nice dresses... it's so tempting~~ I want to buy~~ well, but I don't planned to buy anything on that day, so, I didn't buy any. Nevermind, since the Queensbay Mall so close with me now, I can go there anytime I want to. hehe!!
Oh ya, last Thursday was my birthday, now, I'm another year older than last year... sigh... here, I want to thank everyone that sent me birthday wishes, thank you so much!!

1st week Back to College

1st week in college was kinda boring... not much teaching and i'm way too free with the weird timetable since we don't have any assignment yet... i've got only 2 hours class on monday and it's in the MORNING!!! And i just knew that I can't late for this class!! I went out from my house to college at 6.50a.m. this morning and you know what? I'm late for the class for 15 minutes!! That means if I have to be there on time, i must go out from my house at 6.30a.m. and so I have to wake up at 6.00 a.m. sigh... what can I do? ya know... blue Monday... The worst jam of a week always happens on monday... Can anyone tell me what causes traffic jam?? This is one of the unsolved questions where I read it from a magazine.
So, nothing much to say since the college had started, oh!! F.Y.I GSC will be opened in Queensbay Mall on 20th January!! Yay!! Anyone up for a movie?

1st Day Back to College

Today is my 1st day back to my old life again, when i'm in the college, it's still the same view, same teacher, some student still the same but i've got different feelings. Did I feel lonely? maybe... nervous? maybe... excited? not really... well... i don't really know...
Okay, put that aside, something wrong with my car today, the temperature in my car goes too high and smoke came out from my car in the middle of the road!! On my way to the Penang bridge!! Thank god i still haven't reached the toll station yet. Imagine how miserable i was that time. And so my dad comes and helps me.
Here, I want to thank a few people that helped me in this incidence, firstly, my parents who are so caring and understanding... the next person is my cousin brother that passed by and spotted me standing behind the highway. He stopped and stays there with me to wait for my dad arrival and then he drives me to the college until he's late for his work. Sorry and thank you to him.

IT'S 2007

2006 is OVER!! GOODBYE 2006 and HELLO 2007!! I'll definitely miss the time I had in 2006...
okay, so I went to the 2007 countdown celebration in AUTO-CITY yesterday. The place was flooded with people from everywhere... kinda fun actually... with friends around... the only thing i don't really like is that we stand behind the huge woofer with the extremely loud base, I'm almost deaf!!
OH, and before that, we went to watch "night at the museum", it was really a nice movie to watch and worth watching!! Museum is really a place where history comes alive!!

Nothing much more to say, i just wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR and may you all have a great year!! it's still not to late to wish you all, isn't it?

School Opening

Okay, i've enrolled into one of the INTI's program again yesterday, so, HELLO again INTI for another year. School starts on 3 January 2007 and I'll be back to my old life again except that I'll travel to there everyday instead of staying in the hostel this time. I dunno what to say... I'm afraid, I'm nervous, I'm scare that I'll be alone, I'll unable to cope with the course and so on.... help~~ hopefully thing goes well....
okay, so I went to gurney yesterday to do some shopping... you know... new year coming... and a few days ago, I met up with Hui Peng - my dear friend, Sheng Hao and Kai Chin. It's been a long time since the last time i met them.. so nice to meet up with them and updating myself with things happened around them. And thanks to them for providing me a lift back to home and going there.
Apart from that, there's a quake that happened a few days ago in Taiwan and the internet access were corrupted in some Asia countries until now still not completely repaired. This had affected many of the internet users such as some webpage users like blogger, friendster, youtube and so on. My super damn slow speed already made me get frustrated and now became super duper damn slow. What a world wide wait!! Thank god it's better now than morning. But still some can't even view at all, like my yahoo mail!! Darn quake!!
Well, nothing much to say, just want to enjoy my last few days of freedom and make full use of the time doing things i want to do before my class commences.

Tired

I am tired, I am exhausted, I am sleepy.... I just back from my camping yesterday, I slept for 16 hours last night, the longest time I ever slept and I woke up at 4 p.m. , the latest time I ever woke up, ooh man…. What I can say about the camp is the schedule too tight, we don’t have enough time to rest, I dunno is it fun or not because I don’t really join their program as I was busying with my sound system problems.
I have nothing much to say anymore, well, just wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Miserable Me

HSC results are out today. Actually I don't wanted to see it, not today... but early in the morning, Loo Hoang rang me up and was asking me how is my results... by that time, i still not dare to see it, and my mom said see la, you also have to face it later... so i ended up search for my results. And you know what?? I got all band 4 which are actually not really good.... and after i got to know other's, i felt miserable and terrible.... i'm the worst!!! Oh god!! Sad la... i'm now started to worry about my UAI which we can get to know by tomorrow. What will it be? I read the HSC booklet and to my horror, i found that if you get all 70, your UAI will be only 56!! Imagine!! Oh My GOD!! Help~~
Okay, apart from that, i'm gonna spill the beans here, revealing the drama happened in my college. It happened a few days ago... it's like someone and i named it TH was in-charge with the 2nd hand books selling, then another person and i named it HZ who was very busy body, he just take over the work because of he can't stands with the way TH works, i was like what the hell is he doing, it's totally none of his business.... so kaypo. He always thinks he is good in everything, and he's arrogant, just like last time when we played the volleyball, he actually don't know how to play, then he read some books and got to know roughly how to play, and he acts like he is very good in volleyball... teach other people how to play somemore, even "invented" new way to serve the ball.... what could i say somemore to his kind of person?? This kind of people just tends to piss me off!

Alumni Night

It's been pretty hectic these days. Lee Xin and I went to queensbay on Friday... it's huge, we went at lunch time and there is a long queue in every restaurant available inside, we are soo hungry at that time and so we ended up having our lunch by eating only bread. We didn't stay long at there, only about like an hour something, then we left. Maybe you'll shocked, but true, really.. it's because we didn't go inside the jusco and we just walk along the shoplets outside and you know... there is not really much shops open yet... so we just like went to Gurney after that.
Last night was the Alumni night. But it looks more like prom night. Everyone dressed up and they all look totally different from what i used to see... the girls become so pretty and the guys become so handsome. here goes the pictures :

-Hui Ling's wearing skirt!! 1st time ever!!- Hui Ling, in case you see this, no offence-

- Chung Ling girls in INTI-

- me and my roommie, Jia Shuen, she looks so different!!-

- pretty girls except me-

- err.... i forgot what is the guy's name that surrounded by beauties, ooh!! and Mr. Goh too...-

it's pretty fun at there although their programs are quite boring... it's fun because we met up with friends that didn't see for 2 months. We were just enjoying ourselves by taking pictures around and chatting around. The food... what should i say, i think it's ok only although it's quite expensive, not what i've expected. Unfortunately... there is someone who is very annoying in my table, Mr Polar Bear, not to mention his name... he is like soooooo damn annoying and obnoxious, hey!! I think you should go back to kindergarten and learn what are manners!! Darn it!!

As a conclusion, everyone looks so different on that day. I think it should called alumni prom night, what do you think?? pretty good?? goood!! My eyes are closing now...i better go to sleep now. So, good night!!

KL trip

i'm back from KL. It's just a small trip to attend my cousin's wedding and shopping. When i was in KL, as usual, i was greeted with traffic jam, how nice... okay, because of the time constraint, i just went to Time Square and KLCC for a while. And you know what, i didn't buy any clothes there, honest!! well, i did bought a couple of books and a pair of shoes, not much, really!! Although it was only a few hours walk... my legs were so damn sore and even got a big bruise thanks to my sandals and me sis's high heels. The bruise i got this time is not because of i fell down but it's because of the metal plate on the shoes.
Advice to girls:
- never wear sandals or high heels when you go shopping if you are not the kind that wears it everyday, you'll suffer.... trust me!
Then on the other day, we went to visit my aunt's new born grandson, which is my nephew and also my 2-year-old niece.

- christmas tree inside Time Square-

- christmas tree inside KLCC- which 1 nicer?-

- me and my cute niece-

- the views of KL from where i stayed-

Untitled

I'm going to KL tomorrow, yay! Sadly my Genting trip has been canceled off due to the problem of transportation. But, i would like to stay in cyber jaya for a few days since my sister is there, maybe... The only thing that i'm headache about is that my sister, make me write a 10 pages assignment and hand in to her by tomorrow or else i have to pay for my own shopping expenses... well, it was my fault too as she gave me this assignment months ago and i done nothing about it yet.. i admit that i'm kinda lazy to do but hey, what can i write until up to 10 pages ar?? It's like i have to write about what am i going to study next year and what is my choices of course that i might be taken.. and where will i go and so on and on... oh god...help me... although i'm quite excited about going to meet her but this assignment makes me want to stay a distance with her... what should i do?? looks like the only choice i have is to complete it and hand in to her by tonight... okay, fine. i'll do it!! But by using my quite limited english vocabulary and my lousy grammer.... can she understands what am i writing?? Don't care dee la, as long as i do it for her... but what if she dun want to accept it? is that mean that i have to redo?? DON WANT!!!

Rambling, please ignore this post..

Sad la..Sad la... why is like when everyone is busy while i'm free and when the time i'm busy, they are free? It's so difficult to ask people to go out... like today, i'm trying to ask May, Kai Xin, Loo Hoang, Lee Xin, Justin and Jeremy to go out, but then...... May and Kai Xin are busying with their things... Lee Xin cannot come out, Jeremy going to KL, Justin... I dun really know... other than they all.. Hui Peng...Who i think should be free... is busying with her Form 6 tuition.. i feel pity towards form 6 students. It's like even during holiday...they have to go to the replacement classes, tuition and so on.. if not, they will be left far far behind dee... and Yik Han..can't even come out because she got classes in her matriculation course... weng hong and jeffrey.... busy with their final exams and assignment.. so, who else can i ask for?? So sad...

- jade water village-

-stone forest-

There will be more photos coming up later.... because dunno why i can't upload anymore and some pictures are in my camera and my card reader don't work!!

My Yunnan Trip

I'm back!! and here i am, back to my home, sitting infront of my computer, updating my blog!!
Yunnan at a glance
Area: 394000 sq.km.
Capital: Kunming
Population: Approximately 41 millions in 2001
Language: Mandarin. A local dialect is also spoken, not very much understood by outsiders. Very little English is understood outside large hotels. Religion: Buddhism, Taoism, Islam and Christianity.
Climate: Varies widely according to latitude and elevation, from subtropical in the south, to high tundra in northern areas.
Local Time: GMT +8
Currency: Chinese Renminbi (RMB) is the medium of exchange. The basic unit of RMB is yuan, in denominations of 100, 50, 10, 5, 2 and 1. The yuan is divided into 10 jiao, which is further divided into 10 fen.
Credit cards: Accepted in large hotels only.
Travellers cheques: Travellers cheques and currencies may be exchanged into Yuan in major banks and hotels only
Electricity: 220V, 50 Hz
Nightlife: There is no recognised nightlife suitable for tourists.

Yunnan was fun, you can shop everywhere and everyday, hehe, sad though i didn't bought alot... their stuffs were cheap, and you can bargain until you satisfied with the price, if you don't bargain with them, you'll go and knock your head off when you found out the price others' paid for the exactly same item. Bargain also required special skills in China you know, first, you make the price very very low, like about a quarter of the price shopkeeper offered, if they refused, then you go a bit more higher until a certain level, if they insisted not, then you leave, most of them will call you back and give you the price you wanted for... sadly I don't have the skill and i'm very soft-hearted in this kind of thingy. Thank god there are some people who are very good in bargaining, so they help me out. hehe :)
Food, quite nice but they were in huge propotion, and none of us manage to finish up those food, what a waste.... but according to my tour guide, in China, if the food are finished, meaning they don't served enough food for us and then later they will get scolded. weird culture...
Toilets, thing i must say, OH MEEE GAWD!!! without doors!! not all la, some... well, i avoid to go in this kind of toilet.... =.=''''''' but those china people feel nothing at all, they go in like no one there, i'm speechless about that.....
People, they spit everywhere, not a good habit and i think it's kinda..... disgusting and somemore, there are a lot of smokers in china, you can smell the cigarrete smell everywhere... pity my poor nose, like torturing my nose with the smoke...
okay, apart from that, china was a nice place with a lot of scenic spot. Shi Ling or stone forest, a 5 star rated scenic spot in china, one of the world heritage, over 200 million years ago, it was a vast sea, years past and the geographic sturcture changed and so the stone forest formed. You'll be amazed by the naturally formed rocks, no doubt. Nature is the top-notch sculptor that carved out the shape of the rocks. Don't believe me?? later i'll put up the pic and let you guys see yourself as picture speaks more than words.
Another scenic spot, jiu xiang. it's a cave with 336 steps inside, the stalactite and stalagmite amazingly formed in different shapes and you can see waterfall inside the cave somemore, cool ain't it?? it's a very rare case to have a waterfall inside a cave and here got one. oh, and the fish inside the cave's river are blind, could you believe that??? The fish had eyes many years ago, but since they live in cave without sunlight, so they degenerated and eventually became blind today.
Jade dragon snow mountain, also one of the world heritage, more than 6000 metres in height but human beings only manage to reach 5000 something and cannot go further up anymore. so it's still a virgin mountain, not yet conquered by man. The top of the mountain 365 days covered with snow. When i gone up the mountain, i noticed that the snow is no longer snow, it had became ice because of the low temperature..
The old town in Lijiang, it was there since more than 500 years ago, also a world heritage, well preserved until today and it had became a commercial centre where the houses inside has been occupied and turned into shops.
Jade water village, has the clearest water in China. The only place in China where the water remain unpolluted. The water clear until the state that you can see the bottom of the pond. And they breed salmon fish inside, salmon fish can only live in very clean water and low temperature. So if they can live in Jade water Village, meaning the water is really really clean.
All the scenic spot i mentioned above are all 4 to 5 stars rated scenic spot in China and also some of them are world heritage. But of course, there are some other places we went that i'm unable to explain all.... well, our tour guide also brought us to some places that are not in our itinerary, mostly shopping area, like place where you can buy silver, jade, silk, crystal, etc... oh! and some shopping street which we request our tour guide to bring us there. I'll post the pictures in my next post.

What A Very Busy Day

phew... i am very busy these days....yeah, that's right, I AM very BUSY!! Busy of sitting around, walking around, eating around, watching drama series all day long... okay, serious... apart from that, i'm actually busy of packing my baggage and shop for things necessary for my trip. :) Yah!! I'm going to China early in the morning tomorrow... and so there won't be any posting until i'm back. Yunnan...hmm... it's a very beautiful place.. and the place called Li Jiang somewhere in Yunnan is the world heritage, wow!! It must be having a very very very beautiful scenery... i'm gonna shot a lot of pictures there..hehe!! Will there cold?? Dunno why i always have a feeling that it's not that extremely cold, because Yunnan is in the down south of China. But i dunno, i better prepare something for just in case it's too cold. okay, i better go to continue to do my last minute packing. I'll post up nice pictures of Yunnan when i'm back!

Okay, I went to do acupuncture again, it's not that i like to do it...but it is because my poor leg is still not completely recovered yet... this time, i was poked in with three needles, pain?? Of course!!! Very pain this time, i also dunno why... not only pain, when they got the correct place they wanted to poke in the needle... Ohhhh, that feeling really terrible... whole part of that particular area, you'll tend to feel energyless...

-see??-

When Freedom Becomes Boredom

When freedom becomes boredom...hmm....what should i do?? Well, actually i'm not really that bored on the past few days, i've got activities since thursday and end on today. So, next week i'll be superb free....what should i do to feel up my days??
Put that aside. okay, these few days i went out almost everyday, not only that, it's whole day. it's like i woke up in the morning, then i went to penang shopping and come back at like 5 p.m. then i have to go to Lay Buddhist Association at night to prepare for their students convocation, when i reached home, it's already like almost midnight, this kind of routine last for 3 days and i'm almost exhausted....okay... let see... my activities:
thursday, i went out with May and Kaixin, watched happy feet, those penguins are soooo cute and their tap dancing are awesome....lovin' it. At night, went to Lay Buddhist Association
Friday, actually not going anywhere until night after dinner, i went shopping..
Saturday, morning, i went shopping, again.... when i came back, went to Lay buddhist Association, again, until midnight...tired..
Sunday, stay at home.... going no where.... eh....got... i went to meeting for our camp in december... after that...have my tea time with Yik Han, Kwong Yew, Beng Poh, Chong Lin, Hui Khim and Wei Huang...i think i'm gonna packed in a few kilograms dee.... i ate a lot...
so, last night was the convocation, it was fun actually.... those little kids are sooo cute, i helped them with the make-up and i was in-charged with the drama performance and so i helped to dress up those little actors.

-little tripitaka, in chinese known as tang san zang and me. Actually he is one of my student-

Back to my topic, okay, i'm free from today onwards, i have nothing to do... fine, i admit that i like to be free, but when there is too much of nothing, it's kinda bored. Those feelings, can't explain, like being isolated.... you dunno what is your friends doing.... what is the latest vogue... no more gossiping...hehe... and others..... okay fine...maybe i'll find something to do....go shopping again...or maybe call up someone to hang out with... hopefully there are someone who free to let me hang out with...

I'm going to vacation on the coming saturday, meaning next week...just 1 week to go before my vacation, yay!! okay, maybe i'm not that bored actually...i dunno....

Holidays!!

It's holiday.... but dunno why i feel so empty.... i have this feeling since the very next day of my holiday...dunno why, just can't explain the feeling... i supposed to be happy right?? but i'm not really happy... can anyone tell me why??? It just like i've nothing to do, but actually i have things to do...i have to prepare things for the convocation of those little kids in the sunday class...well..i'm a volunteer teacher of sunday class... i have to go to lay buddlhist society like almost every night to finish up their performance accessories, their convocation is on this saturday, and i'm still not sure i can finish up those stuff or not....
on a happy thought, my sister is coming back on tomorrow afternoon, yay!! Gonna make her bring me go shopping...muahahaha!! i'm like rotting inside the house dee....nothing to do whole day until night only i getta go out... not enjoying...but doing work...never mind..since i'm going out tomorrow...yay!!movie!!with Kai Xin and May..i think...ahh...watever...as long as i getta go out...
Though i have nothing to do...but something just keep bothering me... haih..and again, i have to decide what should i study later on...i'm now considering taking up accountancy..is it a good choice?? pretty good..i guess...the pay is high(according to my sis), i can work independently after a few years, i can open my very own accountant firm, i can arrange my own working time if i can work independently... this is the positive sides i think about an accountant, on the negative sides, i have to go through 3 years of very exhausting period..... and got lotsa papers to take to get the approved certificate like ACCA, i think 16 papers...wow....and it is very though to go through all these papers...so, should i go for it?? hmm....
on another happy thought. I'm going to yunnan on 25 november....yay!! and only will be back on 2 december... i getta see snow there...yay!!but it's on the top of a mountain...nvm....as long as i getta see snow...i love snow...but never experiance before, so i must really enjoy my very first experiance..
on a totally different topic, yesterday, i undergo an acupuncture treatment, my very first time, hah!! the feelings, got a bit pain, but not really pain, but sometimes you'll tend to feel the area the needle poked into you energyless...and i was poked in with two needles... T.T i was so shocked when the doctor told me that she wants to do acupuncture on me, i was like huh?? are u serious?? and she says, not pain 1 la....so..i only say ok...but i was really terrified when she says i need to do acupuncture treatment on my leg since i sprained my leg 1 month ago and i only seeked for a doctor yesterday, i think i hurt my nerve or something, thats why the doctor wanted to do acupuncture on me...
well, nothing else special happen, since Hui Peng who studies form 6 is having exams now and Yik Han's matriculation classes just started....
I wanna go out!!!

Put that aside. So, today after my exam, i went to gurney directly with Vicky, Jia Shuen, Rui Ken and Vicky's boyfriend. We went for shopping and movie!! oh!!We went to try out those evening gowns, geez...those gowns are soo pretty, but it's quite expensive, one suit is like hundred and something, so i decided not to buy it. 1 more paper to go---chemistry paper!! the last paper!! It's on the coming friday and then exams finish!! yeah!! Just can't wait until that day comes...
My mind now is just full of the exitement after exams and this makes me can't concentrate on my studies even more...crap... I've got lotsa plans after my exams... I am going to have a Yunnan trip, that's what really makes me excited about. After the trip, i got KL and genting trip with my family as well. :D really looking forward to it.. oh... 1 more.. i am a committee member of a camp organised by lay buddhist society so i have to go for that 6 days 5 nights camp, quite looking forward to that too.... ah!! my holidays are packed until 25 december!! Fine... but i think i'll really enjoy my tightly scheduled holidays!! :) and of course, i'll find some time to go SHOPPING!!!
ok..ok come back...don't think until that far yet...your exams haven't finish yet!! sigh...
my life during exams period are sooo tedious.... my daily life : sleep, eat, read, roaming around inside my room( i can do that for hours...haha!!), and bathe.... really wanna get out from this rut!! arrrghhhh!!!!! It really drives me crazy!! Sometimes i tend to feel very depressed and just wanna express out my feelings..... and last night, my poor roomate becomes my "punching bag", it just that i didn't punch her but instead shake her wildly... haha..sorry and thanks to you jia shuen, i feel better after that. :P
Back to my topic, so, exam on friday, i still got 3 more days to revise my chemistry. This is the last paper dee and i really don't wanna let it down anymore. So, Study la!!

I feel sooo lazy to study.... but i still have to study right? i still got piles of books waiting for me and tonnes of notes to go, so little time but so many things for me to memorize. ARGH!!!!! and I got lotsa distraction around me as well!! :(
Yesterday was my 1st paper of my finals which is English paper 1. I always have not enough time to finish my paper, so was yesterday, i used 4 minutes to complete my last paragraph and 1 minute to finish my conclusion, i rushed until i dunno what am i crapping inside the paper....hopefully i answered what the question wants...haih...pathetic..
Still got 5 more papers to go, thank god all the papers spreaded out evenly so that i still have time to catch up with all my notes.
a quote from China Coin that has been altered by me : I hate it!! I hate exams!!!

Happy Mooncake Festival

Mooncake Festival is over dee....
well.. we had a mooncake festival party on wednesday...cool huh!! Ya..i know it is a bit early but that is the best day for all of us.... Changes

Well... it has been 9 months since I study in INTI.. and I've adapted to the environment around and found out that actually it is not as bad as what i thought at the first time....you can refer to the 1st post New Born(actually it is not typed by me, obviously). But some still remain the same..... like the prices of the food in the canteen is still so expensive and I am already numb towards it.... Walking through the great steps of IICP is still so tiring.... never mind... just 1 month left!!

Things that change...
My perspectives towards my friends changes.. it is so unbelievable that those people I don't like at the first time became my good friends... after mixing with them, I found out that they are not as bad as what I think....we cannot judge a book with its cover, appearance is only what we can see physically but how a person behaves and their personalities is much more important.

Another thing...
Do you know the Rasa Sayang Resort in Batu Ferringhi? It has been renovated since 2 years ago and will be re-opening on 28 september...wow...new facilities have been added such as spa....The resort's name has also changed from Rasa Sayang Resort to Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa. But of course, it is very expensive... Here are some pictures of Rasa Sayang Resort :

The night view of Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa

The View of Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa

I've taken these photos from the opposite of this resort which is Sri Sayang....well, the name is quite the same..both got "sayang" but it is totally different... Rasa Sayang is a 5 star hotel while Sri Sayang is only an apartment...well.. it is cheaper of course if compared to Rasa Sayang...

Changes occur around us everyday, no matter you like it or not, it will also happen. The changes that i listed is just what i can see... what about those that i can't see?? so, we must accept and learn how to adapt to the changes so we can live "peacefully" and not being interrupted by those "changes". Well, of course that are some changes that are not relevent to us, but what's wrong just to know? Just like the Rasa Sayang resort, no matter it changed or not... i won't go there and stay for fun... do you know how expensive it is??!?? There are some changes which are fun, such as the changes in our technology. I have read an article recently and found out that our genetic technology today has produced a featherless chicken, fun isn't it? haha!! It does not really matter to me but it is fun to know what's happening in our world today.

So, hope all the people in this world can live peacefully with those changes around them and have fun with those changes.

The 90/10 Principle by Stephen Covey

Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your life. What is the 90/10Principle? 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life isdecided by how you react. What does this mean? We really have no controlover 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. Adriver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. Theother 90% is different. You determine the other 90%. How? By your reaction.

You cannot control a red light, but you can control your reaction. Don't letpeople fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example:

You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cupof coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what justhappened. What happens next will be determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse andcriticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. Ashort verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Backdownstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finishbreakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse mustleave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter toschool. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speedlimit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, youarrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without sayinggoodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgotyour briefcase. Your day has started terribly. As it continues, it seems toget worse and worse. You look forward to coming home, When you arrive home, you find a small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter. Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad day?

A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?

The answer is D. You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.

Here is what could have and should have happened:

Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gentlysay,"It's ok honey, you just need, to be more careful next time." Grabbinga towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your childgetting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early andcheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you arehaving.

Notice the difference? Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different. Why? Because of how you REACTED.

You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90%was determined by your reaction.

Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle:

If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let theattack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negativecomment affect you! React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrongreaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed outetc.

How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose yourtemper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheelfall off! Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try andbump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let thecars ruin your drive? Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry aboutit.

You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It willwork out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.

The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why takeout your frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on. Use your time to study, get toknow the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make thingsworse.

Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at theresults. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90-10 principle isincredible. Very few know and apply this principle. The result? Millions ofpeople are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. There never seem to be a success in life. Bad days follow bad days. Terriblethings seem to be constantly happening. There is constant stress, lack ofjoy, and broken relationships.

Worry consumes time. Anger breaks friendships and life seems dreary and isnot enjoyed to the fullest. Friends are lost.
Life is a bore and often seems cruel. Does this describe you? If so, do notbe discouraged. You can be different! Understand and apply the 90/10principle. It will change your life!!

Finally..... after 4 months....i'm here again to update this half-abandoned blog of mine....

it's so unbelievable that time passes so fast....it is september now and i haven't start to revise all the stupid notes.....moreover...it has been 2 weeks since my chemistry teacher is on medical leave, so I barely remember what she thought last time....erm... i guess.... it is something about sulfuric acid?? (australian syllabus spell sulfuric this way.. not sulphuric.. so its not a spelling mistake here..) whatever.....

A few unforgettable things happened within this 4 months.... my friend Karen had left to further her studies in switzerland, my sister graduated and got a job, my friend caught in an accident and i was in the car..... (thank god it is not serious..... *touch wood*) erm...... the rest which are not so important to me....I've forgotten.....
